Christine Benjamin Art Opening

Join us on Sunday, Oct 7th at 8pm for a special art opening with California artist Christine Benjamin and music by Kanoa. Christine Benjamin is an artist born and raised in Northern California and loves all things Tiki and Hawaiian style. Being born in the 60’s her first Tiki experience was as a young child visiting Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and she’s been hooked on Tiki culture ever since. When Christine starts to create her paintings or art dolls her Tikis, monsters, robots, skeletons and other creatures seem to take on a life of their own. Whether it’s an image of a Beatnik Tiki or a Hawaiian mermaid Christine’s creatures tell their own stories. We’ve extended this show through the end of November, so come down and check it out!
